RETURN TO WORK COORDINATION

OccuMed OHNs provide expert guidance to achieve the goal of a safe and timely return to work by using modified duties, graduated work schedules and temporary or permanent accommodations. When appropriate, we employ ergonomic assessments and job demand analysis to tailor the return to work to the medical needs of the employee.                               

The OHN works with the employee, employer, union, RTW coordinator, healthcare team and insurance carriers to develop a plan that is respectful of the worker’s medical limitations, operational needs, human rights legislation and the collective agreement.
